This is Tamiya 30608 1/25 British Chieftain 46t Medium Tank. The British Chieftain tank was the successor to the Centurion model, and was produced from 1963. The heavily-armored hull featured sharply-sloped front and turret front faces, while the firepower was provided by the 55-caliber 120mm main gun, which had a range of up to 4 kilometers. The tank could get around 48km/h out of its 750hp 6-cylinder engine. From the Mk.3/3 versions of the vehicle onwards, improvements were made not only to the powerplant, but also in providing laser range-finders and more. Deployment to units began in the latter half of the 1960s and the Chieftain saw action with not only British armed forces but also their counterparts in Jordan, Oman and other Middle Eastern countries.
